2025 Political Endorsements

It's that time of year where we need to get out and vote for candidates backed by labor! Every year, the Greater Syracuse Labor Council, AFL-CIO endorses a number of candidates that have shown they understand and support labor issues. The process starts off with a Candidate Education Night in August, followed by candidates filling out a questionnaire. The Education Night and the questionnaire both highlight labor issues in all sectors - private, public, and trades. From these answers, the board will recommend whether to endorse candidates for local offices. These endorsements then are voted on by the entire delegate body at a monthly meeting. 

This process has just wrapped up, and we are excited to announce the following candidates have received the endorsement of the Greater Syracuse Labor Council, AFL-CIO in 2025! The candidate name is followed by the office they are running for, which district they are running in (if applicable), and party registration. We encourage all our members to vote for any of these candidates if they are in your area!
