"No Action is too small to make a difference" - NYS Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado

As the federal government wages war on the working class, the Central New York Area Labor Federation has stepped up to lead the charge to stand up and fight back against illegal and unjust cuts. Our Labor Federation and Central Labor Councils have joined with community advocates from Indivisible, Citizen Action, Solidarity, and plenty of our affiliate unions to tell politicians - Democrats and Republicans alike - that our government should work for all people, not just the rich billionaires.

In just two months, we have already seen attempts to fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees, the privatization of the Post Office, the dismantling of the Department of Education, and cutting nearly a trillion dollars in Medicaid funding. Soon we will see more plans for privatizing Social Security and gutting vital programs for our veterans.

Every step of the way, this Labor Federation will be there for you. Whether you are a teacher who may lose critical funding in your school to help students with special needs, a retired laborer who relies on Medicare for reasonable health insurance, a letter carrier who has delivered mail to your neighbors for decades, or a veteran who put your life on the line in the name of the values of freedom and equality, we will be there for you.

As Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado said at one of our recent rallies to protect Medicaid, no action is too small to make a difference. We will continue to lead the charge with rallies, letter writing campaigns, phone calls, legislative action, and whatever else is necessary. We need you to join us. If you know of an upcoming action, please let us know so we can spread the word.

There is no power stronger than the power of the people.
